Trivia Night

on August 16, 2013

IMG_3339IMG_4115As a result of winning last month’s trivia night, Rob’s team hosted this evening’s trivia challenge at the Embassy. One of the rounds that Rob organized was simply titled “America.” Feel free to test your American trivia knowledge below with a few questions from this evening!

1) Massachusetts and Virginia are two of the four states that refer to themselves as Commonwealths. Name the other two.

2) The Battle of Gettysburg took place during General Lee’s second invasion of the North during the Civil War. What major battle halted General Lee’s first invasion of the North?

3) Which current NFL quarterback was born in Okinawa, Japan? (Bonus: Could he hypothetically run for President of the United States?)

4) Which U.S. President was the only President to serve two non-consecutive terms? (Hint: He’s on the $1,000 bill.)

5) Two states tie for the most interstate borders at eight. Name those two states.
